Every now and then, when I feel my iPod has become a little stale, I will restore it back to factory settings and therefore wipe all the songs off. I then spend an evening filling it again with different stuff. Generally, anything I can’t remember that was on there, doesn’t go back on. I obviously wasn’t listening to it.

There are a few songs that are always first on the list however. The staples of my iPod. The songs I couldn’t not put on there straight away. Here they are:

Billy Joel – Vienna

Robin Thicke – When I Get You Alone

Iron Maidedn – Run To The Hills

Tom Jones – I Who Have Nothing

Stevie Wonder – I Believe (When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever)

Bruce Springsteen – Streets Of Philadelphia

Jimmy Eat World – The Middle

Go West – King Of Wishful Thinking
