Midnight Music is a daily post of a song that happens at midnight. It couldn’t be simpler. Today’s song is:
Been listening to Wet Wet Wet a lot recently. My sister loved Marti Pellow when she was younger, maybe she still does, who knows. She’s listen to them all the time, subsequently, I got into them. From 87 – 91 then had 3 REALLY good albums. After that, they limped on for a bit with a few more, but never really produced anything as good as their early work, despite his fantastic voice. I’m including Love Is All Around, by the way. I know it was huge, but it’s not a great song, and it’s a cover. Anyway, here’s a song of theirs!
Stop your pretending
Listen to what I’ve got to say
How your head’s went away
Only here for a day
And that grave I just made
Is for me when I get paid
